Each flooring contractor has different price for installation, even when installing the same material. One may charge $8.50/sq-ft of put down granite tile, while another only asks for $3.30 per sq-ft. Here we capture the total cost for doing flooring
            • 3000 sq-ft of hardwood flooring, 4" width.
            • 150 sq-ft of ceramic, 12x12
            • 350 sq-ft of natural stone (granite/marble/travertine), 12x12
Renew Flooring
  • Our price to install 3000 sq ft of nail down hardwood would be $3,450
  • Our price to install 150 sq ft of ceramic tile would be              $   500
  • Our price to install 350 sq ft of granite/marble would be          $1,225

These prices are for standard installation only, any custom patterns would be extra. If you would need to have duroc or hardibacker installed that would be $300 extra labor cost.

All of these prices include our written five yr warranty, please visit our website at www.renewflooring.net to view some of our previous projects

Thank you, Kevin

Things learned
  • Do not hire independent contractor without actually seeing his works. Pictures on website does not count!
  • Do estimate of hardwood flooring installation: 100sq-ft/day per person.
  • Do layout the flooring planks to acclimate & save time.
  • Do buy all the matching trims, shoe moldings of the same hardwood flooring, even though they are more expensive, but worth it, especially the thresholds, transitions ... etc.
  • Do buy tiles from Morris Tiles in Alexandria
  • Do buy marbles/granites online, however make sure the grade of marble tiles are acceptable
  • Do have smallest grout lines for marbles
  • Do clean & cover each area as soon as possible
  • Do buy own faucets and plumbing fixtures, have them available during plumbing installation
