IDeq's PSU died

posted Nov 24, 2009, 1:27 PM by Quoc-Anh Vuong   [ updated Feb 11, 2010, 8:36 AM ]
The recent power outage killed the power supply in the Biostar IDeq. I have this shoebox running as a media  computer, connected to a 47" Vizio LCD 1080, it serves movies & also able to rip DVDs. I hooked it up with wireless keyboard & mouse so that I can surf the net while sitting on the sofa. Now that the power supply died, and I could not find the replacement cheaply, I guess I have to put out time to fix this sucker.

The original power supply is the Enhance ENP-2220E, 200w. It's tiny! The closest replacement is the ENP-2225E from the same manufacture. But there are some posts on the net saying that the Asus SFF PSU SL-22A can be used as the replacement, however looking at the dimension, I doubt it. Here is the dimensions for the ENP-2220E: 82mm x 140mm x 56mm (3.22" x 5.5" x 2.2")
