Today, when I tried to take Bao to work, the car could not start. Turning it off, removing the key, and try again, we did that about 10 times. We heard the click, which indicates the solenoid gets 12V, but the motor did not turn. Finally, the motor turned over and car started. But that was an indication of a starter already went bad. Afterward, I went to Advanced Auto Parts and bought a new starter, but did not have to put it in. The starter cost $140, with $10 core. |
